Woohoo! Our own place!

Yes! Shaz and I where fed up with making beds and cleaning toilets so we decided to find an apartment. The same day we were drinking coffee at Zippy's and there was a note on the notice board saying "Room form rent, ask the handsome behind the bar". So we did and because I had to work Shaz went to look at the room with Abigail, who we met in the hostel. At 21.30, during my cigarette break at work I checked my phone to find the message saying we had a place!

Chris and Debs of the hostel weren't to happy with us seeing as we gave a days notice but we just had to leave. We have 2 roommates. Sjoerd (yes Dutch but kiwi..huh) and Mike. Abigail also found a place and lives around the corner. So we're actually building up a social life!

Yesterday we moved in. It was a bit weird because I had never seen the place. I just packed my bags and followed Shaz (we both have a car you see..). The place is so cool! We are sharing a room which works out perfectly because Shaz is leaving for the north island in 2 weeks to travel with her mom for 10 days. When she comes back I will be leaving Nelson so she can take over the room. If it wasn't for Shaz this would not be possible for me because who would want to rent out a room just for 4 weeks. Aren't I lucky!

Oh.. Slight set back. My camera broke and to repair it will cost me $450 so better go and find myself a new one. This also means no photo's of our room yet but they will follow.
